In May 2008 Xerox introduced the 35 page per minute (ppm) Phaser 3635 MFP with print, copy and scan functionality.
The printer ships with 5,000 page standard yield cartridges, with replacements available in both standard and 10,000 page high yield versions. Although the 3635’s all-in-one toner cartridges are physically the same as those used in the Samsung ML-3050/3051 printers and can be interchanged, each printer model requires a different chip for proper operation.
